Ingest Q & A Drop-in Sessions
Drop-in sessions are open, informal Q&A sessions for Ingest users. Come with your questions — whether about your own datasets, your organisation's workflows, or anything you weren't sure about after training. There are no presentations or set agenda; the session is led entirely by what you need.
💡 New to Ingest? We recommend attending an Introduction to Ingest training session before joining a drop-in. Drop-ins are designed for users who have completed basic training and want to go deeper with their own datasets.

What you can ask about:
- Working with your own datasets and deposits
- Metadata requirements specific to your project or organisation
- File formats, validation errors, and technical issues
- How Ingest connects to other ADS systems (UMA, Archive Interface, Data Catalogue)
- Anything you weren't sure about after the introductory training
How your questions help others:
Common questions and themes raised in drop-in sessions are recorded and fed back into future training sessions and documentation — so your questions help improve the experience for all users.
